I want to grow my business and my partner says they are supporting me, but then makes comments about how much time I spend on it. She asks if I've made any money yet and I start to question everything. I wish they would just believe in me instead of making me feel like I'm wasting my time. ANSWER:
Choose one comment your partner made. What were their exact words? Write it down in quotations.
Are you able to name the emotion you feel when you run that quote through your mind? Not in general, get specific. Think about your emotions being a spectrum.
What do you do when you feel that way? What do you avoid doing?
Do you often avoid doing things when you feel this emotion? Are you able to release judgment and simply be curious about what that emotion drives you to do or not do?
What would you choose for your business if your partner's approval wasn’t something you had to get first?
